On December 18th, the network made a major announcement: Haha, You Clowns has been greenlit for a further two seasons. This provides showrunner Joe Cappa significant creative freedom to develop the story of the Campbell family. The series focuses on three polite teenage brothers whose central trait is their strong bond for their single father, with Cappa portraying for all four main characters.

Accompanying the news laudits from Adult Swim president Michael Ouweleen, who described the series as "radically heartfelt and strangely uncanny." He specifically highlighted the fans who embraced the show and championed its peculiarly charming appeal.
